Fanboys

Around the Network

Turns me off:

People that use "LMAO", "ROLF" or "LOL" when having a serious argument.
When someone only talks negatively about a certain company or game, and don't even post on things he likes
When someone plays the victim
People who claim not to be bias when (by looking at their post history) they clearly are. Just be honest about it and don't pretend
People that can't let go of an arguement even though they clearly lost, they try to find any excuse to make them feel they are right and won
Pezus as a Sony fan

Turns me on:

Respect other users opinion
People that know what they are talking about
When someone agrees with me

It always turns me on when a user has lost all credibility, arguments and so on, yet he/she keeps fighting.

It always turns me off when a user gives up too quick in an argument he/she can't win

You must love the Unity thread

I dont use the terms turn on/turn off, but I completely forgot the substitues I use for them.

I hate users who pretend to be unbiased, despite everyone here knowing they have a clear bias.

I hate users who get banned then turn up a week later claiming the entire mod team is biased against them.

I hate users who support a certain company and feel the need to always make negative threads about the competition.

I hate users who need to spam to increase that post/point count, because that post/point count actually means something.

I hate it when users cant cut quote trees.

I hate users who cant admit that the company they "support" can, at times, fuck up. I also hate it when these users just act like full blown dickholes in positive threads about the competition.

I hate users who simply NEED to post an opinion, even if they know it will cause friction. An opinion is like an arsehole. We all have one, but there is a time and a place for which you present it.

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

Attitude Turn offs? People who dismiss things without having actually tried them properly.

Turn ons? People who have a different view but don't instantly write off a different opinion.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

posting news and posts from NeoGaf on vgc constantly with the thread starting off with something like "saw this on gaf" dude idc what you saw or found on gaf if the thread is created there already then go there and comment on it

being mean to others

forcing or shoving opinions down others throat as if they are fact

turns on

making and creating unique and goofy threads mainly sales related or comparisons and putting yourself on the line with bold predictions

Turn ons: Carl's avatars and sigs.

I don't really get turned off by much, I guess inactivity would be one thing, since that means I can't really interact with others.
