Forums - General - Poor kid punished for looking at his X-mas gifts early. (He wanted a 360)

Hell. I would have cried too. He got an Arcade! LOL

On topic: He really shouldn't have looked at his present before it was time. That's what he gets. He was lucky enough to get it back.

Also, we don't know if they were a joking family or not, cause my family does this every year. We get a "gag" gift for one member of the family, and it could have been his turn. So before everyone goes around saying what bad parents they are, remember, we're only getting a three minute splice into their life.

oh and btw if you cant take a little racist joke as a joke then your not gonna survive very long in the real world

these little racist jokes aren't funny my mom is white my dad is black in because of this my family rarely gets along in its hard especially around the holidays. when i have to choose between my white side of the family or my black side of the family to spend time with. in when i see shit like this i gets pissed off i really wish a mod would lock this topic not trying to be rude i just hate racist trash.

That's such a stupid thing to do... Get him all happy like that and then.... CLOTHES!!!!

Unfortunately there are no mods online at all to deal with this and the thread is advertised on the site's front page. More European mods needed methinks.

Edit: Bod is now online so hopefully this mess can be sorted out.

worst parents ever.

Why the hell does this need locking? What will you not sleep at night?

I agree with ThatMaz and WhiteDevil, how on Earth do you cope in the real world if a little harmless (seemingly) racist joke on an internet forum keeps you awake at night, I really do like you as a user Sherlock99 but don't you think you're getting a little too upset over nothing?

This is a classic example of bad parenting. What kind of parent intentionally makes their kid cry?
This is still not as bad as going to see American Gangster with my friends and seeing about seven kids under the age of 10 there, with their parents. They must have learned about 100 ways to shoot heroin and about 200 new ways to swear.

^Your sig offends me, everyone knows that I'm really Nintendo's number on*is shot*

XD!!! j/k!

That is a pretty funny prank and a great way to get back at him for peeking at the gift. However, since we only know what we see in this video, I would hope that they would have ended the prank soon after because that kid was devastated or at least give him a hint that they were joking.

Still, if he still gets the 360 and gets an apology from the family, that is one darn funny video. If not, then that's really mean. Again, I hope he gets his 360 because I've read stories of parents punishing their kid for doing something bad by selling the brand new console on the spot (I think there was a story about one when the 360 launched).

My parents did something sort of like that with my sister. She's going on a school trip so they baited her by saying that they have to spend all of their money to pay for the trip. She took the bait so much in that she was so depressed and angry leading up to Christmas day when she finally got her gifts.

I think the ultimate prank like that I've done is when I got a HUGE box and a small gift for my friend and threw lots of junk in the box (even smaller boxes) that my friend had to rummage around for a while just trying to find it.

Good times.
