All of those problems suck, yes. And I'm sorry for your experiences with Microsoft. But Halo comes close to making up for their suckage at hardware quality. 

Console broken x8, denied service for x5... and I thought getting RROD twice was bad.

I have a strong felling that both Forza 5 and 6 will have a ultimate editon like Forza 2 and 3 did that will come with all or most of the DLC even though Turn 10 is under contract to turn out a Forza game every two years I don't think 8 will be on the X1 I just don't think the X1 and PS4 will have as long a console life as the 360 and PS3.  The 1,000,000 dollar achievement is doable without buying any DLC you don't even have to buy the most expensive car in the game to get it (the 10,000,000 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO its the only car that I don't own in the game excluding the DLC unfortuantely I wasn't lucky enough to win it online when I maxed out my online level the first time).  Also I'm not in a rush to play either the X1 or PS4 either since I also have a huge backlog of games I haven't played yet like GTAV, AC3, Saints Row 4, Metal Gear Solid Rising, DMC, NFS: Most Wanted, Vanquish, Dark Souls just to name a few.  Plus then there are games I have started but haven't finished yet like InFamous 2, The Witcher 2, Sly Cooper 4 and a few more. 

For every good customer service experience there are bad ones. Same with all companiea.

The poor customr service sony gave during psn breach made watchdogs In the uk. People were being told over the phone to stop being padantic by sony employees. And even lied to that no breach had happened. 1 uk person lost over 2000 £. And was given free games as compensation.

Suffice to say those people will probably never buy a playstation ever again.

Personally ill buy ps4, when sony actually releases or shows some decent exclusives. Not just a shooter and infamous 2. Infamous 1 wasnt that great imho.

I've had the same 360, though it's the slim model. I know one person on YT who's XB360 broke down 11 or 12 times. I won't get an XBO until after I get a PS4, Wii U, and PSV.

I am seriously considering dropping both though, as I have way to many PS3 games to work through right now.

Bungie Halo's yes, 343 Halo..........I really didn't like Halo 4. Gears too, 1-3 Awesome, Judgement . So right now I have little hype for more sequels.

This is why I don't want to give my credit card info to either Sony or MS. However even after an hour and a half on the phone, I ended up just using my credit card to buy 3 Windows Phone games, and I removed my credit card info right after.

I wouldn't get both, 1st gen consoles in general are less reliable then successor consoles, and if you have a pile of PS3 games to plow through, why rish them? Get a PS4, or a One so you can get the MP games in 1080p HD, and play the fistfull of new exclusives.

It's not like if you buy a PS4 or a One in 2014 that Killzone or Forza won't be sold anymore (This ain't no XenoBlade).

Microsoft has stated that they expect the One to have "more then a 10 year journey." Granted, of those 10 years, 3 or 4 can done after the console is replaced, but if a Forza releases every 2 years that only means that One needs to be on shelves for 7 years in order for it to see a Forza 8.

However I agree with you about console lifespan, PS4's launch price is 2/3rds PS3's.

Vanquish is good, I suggest you get on that. Most satisfying 1,000/1,000 I ever got in a game.

Anyway, good talk. No sense buying a PS4 for InFamous if you haven't finished InFamous 2 (like me), but if you're interested in Forza 5, are you considering a One anytime soon?

My younger brother is getting a X1 early next year so that is when I will first get to try it.  Also my friend is getting a PS4 at launch so I will get to try it soon after launch.
