Imagine what they would of did if they heard this.

I imagine their sphincters would tighten until they literally imploded like a dying star.

Wait, they banned these books. But books like lord of the Flys is okay? Or is that banned too?

He looks like he escaped from death row

I agree with the sentiment that all banning these books will do is offer free press for them and create interest. Censorship always fails in its goals and will do so again.

I will not play tug o’ war.
I’d rather play hug o’ war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

GASP!! SOCIALIST!!

Where the Sidewalk Ends was one of my favorite books when I was a kid! I read it all the time.

(sarcastic) I am, of course, the prime example of the promotion of  "drug use, the occult, suicide, death, violence, disrespect for truth, disrespect for authority, and rebellion against parents" that reading children's books has caused.

If children were actually displaying these characteristics, it is certainly not due to poems they read in children's books. If these things are happening, you can't blame them on books, because just the fact that they are happening suggests that there is a bigger problem.

The truth is that it is a matter of misplaced blame. Here's how it happens: the children are disobedient and violent, and so the parents, unwilling to accept blame, place the blame on the school, when the reality of the situation is that the answer is bad parenting.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Yeah, America is ...

Just a few days ago my son told me about books that are banned in schools in certain areas of the USA. They typically include books with talking animals (witchcraft) and yes, this bans Winnie the Pooh.
