No, you should buy a WiiU for WWHD, W101, Pikmin3 ZombiU, Lego City, The next Zelda game, Super Smash, X, MK8, Bayonetta2, DKC:TF, SonicLW, Earthbound and various other VirtualConsole/Eshop games and all other games that are probably coming such as Metroid and hopefully Star Fox.

WiiU is still young, I personnaly think theirs already plenty of reasons to buy one, but if you don't agree I'm sure you will eventualy think their is since in the coming years who knows what games will end up on the system. You may want a WiiU later, but you won't have the chance to get that golden Zelda controler :P

Rather then looking at games out now I would look to see if theirs any games coming out in the near future that you want or are interested in. If Super Mario 3D world, Donkey Kong or Mario kart are games you want to play then yeah buying a Wii U to play Wind Waker now is fine but if none of the games interest you I wouldn't buy one. You could always buy a cheap Gamecube and an old Wind waker copy on ebay if you really want to play it that bad.

I strongly recommend WWHD. The original was a masterpiece, and this is the definitive version. I have yet to play because I'm holding out for the physical copy, but they streamlined a lot of stuff to make the experience 10x better.

Pikmin 3 is a masterpiece as well and ZombiU is one of the best survival horror games I've ever played.
