I think the dudebro term mostly refers to the community of players at large. The majority tend to be machismo asshats with nothing better to do than to ruin and spoil online gameplay by over usage of the word "nigg**" and the like because they don't have anything more intelligent to say. Also I don't consider the Battlefield series a "dudebro" game due to the community that plays it not being any where near as childish and immature as the COD community, and on top of that has actual gameplay mechanics that aren't the short bus version of FPS gaming.

That statement is completely false. These type of games and how they affect the industry overall is mostly negative and aids in preventing real ingenuity as well as creativity in the industry. YAY for next gen Indie focus!
