from what i've seen of PS4XONE these two consoles cant do any of the Wii U games I've played. Wii U games use the touch screen. What PS4XONE game uses a touch screen?

Remote play and gaikai are not the same thing.

Remote play is streaming directly from the PS4, usually locally without the internet. Gaikai is streaming from the cloud.

Show me a game where Vita is playing a game simultaneously as PS4 (or even PS3) in a manner which is the same as Wii U.

Show me COD where 2nd player in room is on Vita and other is playing on controller with no split screen.

Show me a FIFA where you can instantly in game draw your route on Vita and it happens in game.

Show me ANY game where you do something on Vita and its intregal to PS3 or even PS4 demos.

I have yet to see that or even a hint of it in demos or statements from MSony. Show me that then this thread has even a tiny amount of merit.

This entire thread is bullocks and what ifs just based on some generic remote play / play away from tv type system. I have yet to see anything that resembles Wii U.

You took this thread the wrong way I see. It's not that wii u features can be emulated on other systems, but that the gameplay can be ported to other systems. What gameplay is only possible with two asymmetric screens? Doesn't matter if those two screens are on wii u or ps4+vita.

games utilizing the awkwardness of trying to look at both screens simultaneously. Examples are the backpack in ZombiU and the minigame GAMER in GAME&WARIO.

I would like to have the word awkwardness stricken from the OP. Be it resolved that, it makes the poster seem like he is not the biggest Nintendo fanboy. Be it also resolved that, it is about as awkward as looking in a real back pack while waiting for someone. yours truly, snyps.

ps. i understand the point in the op. but it's like saying wii sports can be ported to a dual analog controller. I think ea did it in fact. But it was terrible.

How else would you explain it? Can you focus on both screens simultaneously? No. This gameplay capitalizes on that awkward situation of having to jump screen to screen.

If it looks anti-Nintendo, then you are thinking of the wrong meaning of the word.

I submit a resolution.

games utilizing the panic effect of taking your eyes off one screen, to look at another, as briefly as possible.

Especially since both Sony and MS's consoles support second screen gaming as well...

Anything the WiiU can do with the pad, the other consoles can do with tablets or phones

...except with feedback latency

im guessing you havent seen the vita remote play

Not only have I seen it in action, I'm well aware of Sony and Galkai's efforts to "reduce the amount of latency as much as possible". However, given it's across the TCP protocol, there's only so much you can do before the underlying structure becomes the burden.

Why do you think Nintendo went with propietary technology on this?

the remote play has nothing to do with gaikai.

Easy. ZombiU.
It just doesn´t work the same without a touchscreen

cause it's totally convenient to switch to them all the time right.

If one wants to be really precise, every Wii U game could work on the 3DS as the gamepad has a lot of similar functionality. They both have gyroscopes and accelometers, a touch screen a variety of buttons and portability. Even the OP's example could potentially work on a 3DS especially one connected to a TV.The only really exceptions I see are the tabletop mini games from Wii Party U because they require sharing the console and a symettrical device. While this point is true, the assymetrical gameplay would vastly worsen on the 3DS
