That alleviates a lot of the concerns I had about the screen.
i like how he repeats "...but it's still... a playstation vita".

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:
WiiU: Donkey Kong

Yeah, that's pretty positive! I heard the new Vita didn't even have a screen; smart of Sony to correct that oversight.
Nintendo Network ID: Cheebee 3DS Code: 2320 - 6113 - 9046

I like the new, rounded start/select buttons. You can also tell that it's thinner. Those are the only things I'm envious of, though, otherwise--yeah--it's a Playstation Vita.
Nice color scheme, too.

I like the colour, don't like the screen.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!
A slightly worse screen seems like an okay trade off for better buttons and being lighter/thinner. The 1GB internal memory is a nice touch too.

Who said it was garbage? A slightly less impressive screen yes but hardly garbage. Longer batter life, lighter, some storage built in.
meh, nothing much changed. certainly nothing that would make me consider upgraded. i really wish they'd make a second "ps vita Go" model. as i'm already digital download only i'd love to upgrade to a model that ditches the game port for significant amount of internal drive space.
Key thing thing is that everyone was making direct comparisons with the OLED, instead of acessing the screen in isolation. It probably looks great and I doubt future owners will have any issue with it
