Or its just a common sense on Capcom side to not shit on your big game sales before its launch on another platform. (I know - Capcom and common sense sounds very strange together, but who knows?)
Now there won´t be any excuses (who am I kidding). I already see the new headlines next years. Not even Monster Hunter saved the PSV.

The reason for this is a very obvious one. There will be the PS3 version in November to port from.

Kinda like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles on GameCube meant FFX/XI/XII would show up on GCN, lol.
Nintendo is probably re-upping their deal with Capcom for more mainline MH games and also probably locked down DQXI a while ago. All that Wii Sports/Fit/Nintendogs/Wii/Brain Training monies they made years ago is still enough for a monster cash pile that can secure franchises Nintendo is motivated to lock down.
I wish they would moneyhat some Western titles though, we deserve some lovin' over here.
There you are. A port of port which is on 2 other systems a few years late.
Let's face it. This will do nothing for no system.
One of the best news I heard so far.
It was like FF XIV Super big announcement on E3. Damn!

Haha. I find this amusing simply because yesterday I was discussing with the_dengle how 2013 marked the first time we've seen a multi-plat MonHun release (Frontier PS3U) was a good sign. And then the next day the exact same game gets announced for Vita too.
Won't do anything for the platform and I suspect it'll perform horribly in sales too. I don't know why Capcom are pushing this game on any platform.
Still, it is what it is I suppose. And what it appears to be is "barely better than nothing, but possibly a glimmer of hope for the future".
