Nintendo release N64 game with much better graphics... OMG NO INNOVATION JUST REHASHING!

Nintendo release classic franchise with experimentation... OMG NINTENDO WTF ALL WE WANTED WAS X64 WITH BETTER GRAPHICS!

I got my copy of the game, so I did my part in supporting the kind of game that I asked for. Hopefully it gets a bit of a resuscitation later with digital sales once a cult following is built up and spreads awareness through word-of-mouth.

That is awesome and so true. I think a lot of it comes down to certain fan bases of other consoles just wanting or needing to justify not supporting them. Doesnt matter what Nintendo does, they will hate it simply because its Nintendo.

 Let's take Killzone for example. Can you imagine how much hate Nintendo would get for having 6 games from the same series in 9 years? There would be a meltdown.

oh please thats 6 games spread between, 5 different machines. thats nothing, Ratchent and Clank would have been a better argument and hell they did just that with Mario when he first came out.
