Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Yeah they do.  It's not necessarily going to revolutionize the sales,  but it makes a difference.  The attach rate for NSMBU is something stupid like 70%.  Obviously, people want that game.  So now, instead of having to pay $410 for a Wii U, Nintendo Land (which they should want but don't) and NSMBU, they have to pay (presumably) $300 for a Wii U, the game they want, and a healthy dose of bonus content for the game they want.  It's a pretty huge difference in terms of value.

The bundle on its own isn't going to turn things around, nor is the price cut, nor is the holiday lineup.  But, when you combine all of these factors together, things are looking up.

Putting two old and similar games will not magically bring new attention to the console.

I dont think that bundle will suddenly help WiiU sales explode into the stratosphere of johnlucas proportions but it should do ok over the holidays.
