Does anyone know when Nintendo is going to announce the next firmware update for the Wii? And does anyone know a source I could use that tells you when the next one or when Nintendo has plans for more updates?

Nintendo has never told us in the past before hand. Why would they tell us now? We won't know until someone tries to update with the current update, and it does update.

Nintendo's approach to firmware updates seems to be "only when needed". Quite unlike some systems which get a new firmware update every 2 weeks, needed or not (lookin' at you, PSP).

I want the Everybody's Nintendo Channel too. I e-mailed Nintendo and asked if it would come out in North America and he said something like: "I can confirm that the Everybody's Nintendo Channel will be coming out in North America, but there is no date blah blah blah" Yup! He said that! Well, most of it anyway.
