if you had a 3DS from japan you can still download outside of japan. Dont most people do that? Edit: I mean yes you can only access the region where the 3DS is region lock ex if i took my 3ds with me to japan i can only go on US eShop despite that im in japan!

The vgchartz front page article states that the series has now passed 25 million total sales since its 2004 release.
That number is at 21.21 million without MH4 numbers included.
Was this series under tracked or does that mean 3.8 million sales? I could also be looking at something wrong :P

Don't know if VGChartz tracks digital at all, even if a company states it outright, so that may be the difference.

2 million eh? Not bad, but that means I under-predicted the first week sales in the other thread by like 700k or maybe even up to a million, so I'm not sure if I'm happy ...
