Why is Sony there? I thought that Japan isn't a launch country for the PS4?

the article in the OP indicated that M$ wasn't releasing in Japan as on of its 13 launch country and seemed to be asking why bother going to the TGS.  I was just asking the obvious question or line that should have been included in that article.

I know that Sony has many products there, as does M$.

meh, whatever.  i'm not going to listen to it but this is from major nelson's podcast.  i'm pretty sure spencer didn't have to say anything as this isn't the kind of format that has vindictive reporters trying to get them to make a gaff for the hits.  spencer should have just chosen his words more carefully.  he out there doing marketing and should be careful to ensure his words craft the message he wants people to talk about. 

Not likely cuz the sales for the first one and blue dragon were commercial failures and that is why microsoft canned mistwalkers third game cry-on.

Ehh...source? 800k for a JRPG is a success. Maybe it didn't reach Lost Odyssey expectations, but I'm sure they profited on Blue Dragon.
