Thought I should make a thread with comparison videos from the two versions.

Most of you will already know the differences but it's still interesting.

Wait wait....the faster sail is not automatic? From the video it looks like you have to get it in the auction house in Windfall. Also, with the faster sail you don't have to change the wind?

Aonuma said he wanted to make the player to feel progress instead of having it from the beginning. Also veterans still can use the normal one if they want to. And yes, you don't have to change the wind with the new sail.

I personally didn't think this game needed a HD remake but since it got it anyway... It is definitely for the better... It just looks soo amazing from all the videos

Didn't knew about the new sail, I thought it was automatic from the beginning. I actually like this more. 

As for the videos, the only thing I don't like is that you don't hear the Wind Waker song when changing the wind, it will obviously save a lot of time, but idk I like hearing the song and never bothered me to hear it like a million times in the original game lol.

Aside from that nitpick, I love how the game looks. Unfortunately I will have to wait until November to play it

while the HD version looks good. i have to say i am impressed with just how good the GC version looked! pretty stunning for a game that old if you ask me!

I never really played OoT prior to the rerelease on the 3ds (think my first 3ds game) and I was stunned by its epicness. I have never played Windwaker (I don't think?) or the two sequels so I'm really looking forward to playing this better version of it!

You hear it the first time you play it, after that it gets cut.
