Almost every single Starter pokemon 2nd form are just odd looking with them still not grown up but not a kid anymore.

Like most real life teenagers. You can kinda guess what they will end up like, but because of all the hormones out of controls they have pimples, braces... Guys are tall like men but are large like kids.

Really, it's sort of weird.   I'm sure this is just showing off more starter megaevolutions or whatever...

but really, even though it has spinoffs... Nintendo has been strangely reserved with the Pokemon spinoffs/othergames.

Based on the design of Braixen, Fennekin's middle evolution, I'm betting it's either Fire/Psychic or Fire/Fairy.

Indeed, my guess is Fire/Fairy, Grass/Steel, and Water/Flying.

Just another $0.02; I don't think it will be an anime announcement, it could still be. But TGS starts this week and Nintendo usually saves an announcement for around TGS and this may be it.

I agree, but it may also be Water/Dark. Especially if the talk about the three starters being based off the traditional RPG classes "Knight", "Wizard" and "Theif".

Why Grass/Steel? So Fire types can do 4x damage?

Why not? Ferrothorn is one of the best walls in the game, also put them in rain teams then its a x2 weakness ! I dont see a problem especially since there are lots of bug/steel that have it! (grass/steel also only weak against Fighting! Great Typing)

If it's not a 3DS Player to play Pokemon X/Y through my Wii U on my television then I will be disappointed. All aboard the hype train!

As I said with TGS this week it's going to be more than the next Pokemon Series, but I don't think it going to be "big".
