Not surprised. In fact, I thought both of these had already been confirmed before. What I'm curious about is the framerate for Ryse. I think 30fps is likely, but if they can pull off 60fps it'll be very impressive.
Awesome stuff. And they are 2 of the most visually stunning games on console
For those tech experts, there's really a noticeable difference between 1080p and 720p?, I own a Sony bravia 40 inches with 1080p support but neither of my games can run 1080p natively.

i think its 30FPS. i see it more of a game that relies more on presentation so 30FPS would suit it better. good choice made by crytek if you ask me.

yes there is honestly. 720p is still good. but there is still a difference from 720P to 1080P

not sure about the overall game but since they are partnering with the number one tire testing/data company I'm sure they improved that part which in essence should impact the entire handeling of the game....

Yes, it's not as dramatic as say a good progressive scan DVD a nice blu-ray, but you would notice. You would probably notice it more, once you get used to 1080p60 if you went back to 720p.
The fact that Forza can do both 1080P at 60 FPS is very good news.

The irony is that I got modded for it and the ones that actually troll are not. There was a recent thread that, instead of moderating the guilty, a mod just locked it instead. You say it makes us look just as bad but ours is born of frustration from inconsistent moderation.
OT: It may not be news to you, but it is still good to see it confirmed. Sadly I bought my big TV the year before 1080p tv's became the standard. Ugh ...

don't feel bad... I have a 1080p one and bought it about 6/7 years ago right when it became standard and it still needs an upgrade.... real bad... hopefully by the end of 2014 :(
