WTF!! not a single Resistance game on this huge list!! what a load of crap

all 3 of them should have been on the list since so many undeserving games made the cut.

And they are PS3 exclusives, right?

That's my main problem with this list. Especially with Wolfenstein 3D, it was influental and all but it has aged really poorly in compairson to the first Dooms and Quakes. Goldeneye too was a good game for the time but going back to it today it just doesn't hold up anymore.

Graphically or gameplay wise?

Both.

disagree.  I played Goldeneye at a family reunion recently 4 player split screen.  Game is still a hell of a lot of fun and my little cousins had never played it before and loved it just as much so it wasn't just nostalgia talking.

Of course the game is still fun. Afterall it is a good game I never implied it wasn't, but it's hard for a game to hold up againist future generations of technically superior games. That's where I feel is Goldeneye's weak point.

Graphically, there is no way a 16 year old game can hold up to today's standards.  Especially when it is one of the first console 3D FPS.

But game play?  I would still rather play the objective based misions in GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark over the current standard which is mostly just walk forward and kill everything you see.

I sometimes feel the same way.

Hl2 should be #1 instead of #3, but I haven't played HL1 anyway so I can't really speak for its quality. Definitely one of my favourite FPS games. The story is actually memorable years later.

As much as I love HL2, the original still feels more envolving. I don't know, maybe it's because I had just finished GTA III before playing it, but HL2 felt a bit too episodic, more than the first one.

So much CoD and Halo. Black Ops ahead of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and I believe Perfect Dark is totally insane.

Human contact, the final frontier.

I sometimes wish there was a way to play it again on an emulator, but with separate screens for each player. Being able to know were the others were was too cheap.

That's because they had Episode 1 and 2 ;o.

I want to play HL1 when the Black Mesa mod has finally been completed 100%

@bold: lol

:D

@underlined: never heard of that. Do you have more information?

So, any more information on the Black Mesa mod? I'm still curious (and a bit lazy to look for myself lol).

In what way?

I just glanced at the list, wasn't sure how high Black Ops was on the list, I just remebered it was too high. So I said that Black Ops ahead of "I believe Perfect Dark" because I wasn't certain that it was ahead of Perfect Dark. Poor wording either way though, almost as bad as the list.
