Vita tv is going to make a huge change to game selection and retail performance.

Thanks bud, I replaced it.

The Vita has great games but many are niche titles. The 3DS just gets flooded with mass market titles by Nintendo and that's why it sells more. It's not a quality issues per se it's just a question of mass market appeal.

I also have both. It's a matter of taste. All I know is my Vita doesn't get used very much these days. My 3DS gets used all of the time. Not something I'd planned since I bought the Vita on day one and pretty much abandoned my DS for the PSP last gen.

Booo !

Get Ace Attorney and Ghost Trick as soon as possible, the best Capcom games of the Last generation !

It depends of what you consider as "being better"

Vita has better technical specifications, processing power, control options. Then it´s technically better.

3DS has a better library of games, plus it is backwards compatible and it´s cheaper. From a product standpoint, 3DS is better.

I disagree the statement that 3ds "doesn´t have AAA titles". Since when AAA titles refer only to shooters with realistic graphics? AAA titles are games that exceed in design and production excellence. Fire Emblem Awakening, Super Mario 3D World, Kid Icarus Uprising, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Resident Evil Revelations, Etrian Odissey IV, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Monster Hunter 3 can all be considered AAA titles.

Vita's line up is more robust, 3DS's is more exclusive+ quality over quantity.

lol yeah thats why i pointed it out. not to be a jerk (i already am!) but because your posts are always well written, i was surprised to see that mistake.

Can anyone find the EXACT number of retail games for both consoles ?

Wikipedia is no good. It says that Vita has 245 games, but the list includes PSN (download-only) games. The 3ds list has 193 games, but that includes only N.A. retail games and there´s a separate list for eshop games. So both articles are wrong
