There were people here saying it WON'T have market ESPECIALLY in Japan.

Promising start IMHO.

Persona 5 on PS3, I won't need next gen!

Around the Network

it will sold 3-4x Vita.

It makes total sense for the Japanese market. If someone said it wouldnt, then i wouldnt value their opinion much.

The Japanese carry their portables around and use them as their main gaming system. Having a home system is not handy for them because they cant make any progress with that that they can then take with them. This is perfect for them. For westerners, it isnt so hot though.

If you think about it, thats why ideas like transfarring come from japan. It makes sense to them. From a westerner point of view it would be comparable to beeing able to continue playing your home console games on your phone from anywhere. Except for us having something like a games console out in public is embarassing.

I think there is market for that also in Europe/America because I WILL BUY that
This will KILL PSP sales, and help selling more vita games and more games will get PHISICAL release unlike Atelier games.
Smart move IMHO!

Lol, almost everything big selling out on Amazon Japan after preorders open. It's cool, but this isn't telling much about the future of the device.

Even PS Vita itself a lot of times was sold out on Amazon Japan, but we know about its actual sales during lifetime. Even after price-cut and new games  @ < 10K again in Japan last week. So we'll see about PS Vita TV...

Around the Network

Not unusual for new devices to be sold out.

I think the original Vita also sold out on Amazon Japan after it was announced.

Wii U sold out in plenty of retailers. Didn't mean much.

The fact that so many people don't care about this system's limited compatibility with the Vita's library still blows me away, lol. I wonder how many people here currently use cloud services....

I agree with everything you said. It's like you read my mind. lol

Not a mega surprise. Everything (or a lot, at least), sells out in Japan on Amazon.

Add in the fact it's not a huge surprise that Japan is going for the system and you've got yourself a logical conclusion.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
