Remember not so long ago Sony promised it would have 30 games in the first year etc etc

And we all thought it would be nothing but indies. I'll be honest, so did I.

But now that E3, Gamescom and now TGS is over. Has the indie/"AAAOMGBBQBESTGAMEZEVA!!" ratio changed? Or are people still convinced that ps4 is Indie-only land?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

It was not 30 games by Year One. It was 20 games by Year One that are published by Sony Worldwide Studios, which does not include Sony Online Entertainment, of which 12 would be new IPs and 8 would be from existing franchises. If you include the three Indie games coming to PS4 as well as PS3 and/or Vita, that makes 12 games shown so far. Of those games, 9 of them are new IPs and 3 of them are from existing franchises. This is assuming that all currently shown games release by the end of 2014. The current spread is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be when comparing big AAA to Indie being published by Sony. The current count is 5 AAA and 7 Indie. We still have yet to see 3 of the new IPs and 5 of the games from existing franchises. Third-party published games do not count towards the 20 Year One games and 30 total games.

EDIT: Just in case anyone wants to know which games these are exactly:

Doki-Doki Universe
Driveclub
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Helldivers
Hohokum
Infamous: Second Son
Killzone: Shadow Fall
Knack
Resogun
Rime
Shadow of the Beast
The Order: 1886

All other exclusive games announced up to this point are not being published by Sony and thus don't count towards what Yoshida had told us.
