They don't need to be sued, this is never gonna happen. What kind of moron would buy this instead of a console?

I don't think you understand what it is for, so it's kinda ironic to call someone a moron.

Does it not make money sense t just buy a WiiU? Again Nintendo leading the way...

In Gods we trust. Dattebayo...

WiiU ID:         Aias23

Xbox360/XboxOne ID:  Aias23

3DS FC:         3737 9509 2938

This is sad =/

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Think of it as a Screen+Controller in your hand.
It's not an additive screen, like the WiiU, where a game might use the controller as a screen for displaying maps whilst the main TV screen is for everything else.

Essentially it would be a device perfect for those who have to do battle with friends/family for the TV, you could just pick it up and wander into another room and play your favorite game directly from your PC or console.

In fact, rather than comparing it to the Wii U, it probably has more in common with nVidia's SHIELD device, where it streams games from the PC onto the device. :)

i.e. this KS project will most probably fail even though the creators explained their vision very detailed and in a good manner imo. But if this one won't succeed they can always come back with a 2nd KS project and new tiers.

This must be some kind of joke. I just can't see this being a thing.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Nintendo has been heavy criticize for its controller for it to be now cool to have one for the Xbox One/ Playstation 4. I know no Wii U owner will give up money for this. I want to see if this thing will actually get funded.

3) It's being made for consoles that never had screen-in-controller support to begin with, so it pretty much will only offer Off-TV play, because it's almost guaranteed no developer will add Gamepad mechanics for PS3, 360, PC and Ouya games for the suckers silly enough to get this.

4) Even then, the Off-TV play wouldn't be optimized for the controller in the way that Wii U games are, since they aren't made with it in mind.

Why are you talking like this? You are only making a fool of yourself. It is a touchless screen, so it's pretty obvious that it is for off-tv play only and doesn't need extra gamepad mechanics (other than being a controller with a screen).

Doesn't change anything that I typed. Also doesn't change the fact that games won't be optimized for Off-TV play, which is kind of a big deal. I have enough Wii U games to know the difference between games that are not (like NBA 2K13, where it is not nearly as sharp as it should be on the Gamepad screen), and with games that are, like Rayman Origins or Need For Speed: Most Wanted U, which comes out looking quite beautiful on the small screen. And that's not even counting the numerous small UI and on-screen inventory changes that need to take place to get the optimal gameplay experience out of playing on a screen that offers less real estate.

And with the way you're going after anyone who questions this project, I think it's safe to assume we've got our first Cross Plane fanboy/fangirl. Good luck out there.
