Forums - Sales - Worldwide Wii stocks discussion

I don't really know why Australia is considered Sony territory, the Xbox sold about 800,000 compared to 1.8 mil of the PS2, which is a pretty decent ratio when compared to the rest of the world. The GC did really poorly though, and the Wii certainly isn't seeing the numbers here as in other countries. It may be because Nintendo treats Australia like crap, or it might just be because its easier to ship enough consoles to a country that didn't even crack 2 million PS2's

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

The real question is...  how many days until they are gone?

almost the same in toulouse, france, all the stores have wiis for the first time since launch. production or at least european shipments are on the rise...

Here in Goteborg (Sweden) I asked the EBgames in the mall how many they got each week and they said around 30 on weekends, but they normally sellout monday mornings. They always have the in stock sign up though, when you ask they say that they don't. And regarding Wii boxes, I guess they have tons of them because every store here EBgames, Game, OnOff etc has like 10 boxes but no Wiis. Maybe Nintendo just ships them boxes.

Boxes mean nothing... In Copenhagen airport, I saw the entrance of a store decorated with a fake door frame made of empty PS3 boxes...

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957

Same here in Austin, Texas. Not a Wii to be found anywhere since launch. Stores don't really seem to be getting a lot of stock.... a few here and there.
