which generations have you played? Only gen 1? if thats true (even if you did gen 2 as well) that proves XY is bringing old school gamers back!

but cant you transfer hacked Pokemon, or have they found a way to block it?

also i wasnt a fan of pokemon bank at first but when i heard starting a new game w/o the need of a second game to transfer all of my pokes. SOLD



i dont think people should make pokemon bank a big deal. Its only $5 a year for good service. Anyway, yes they block hack pokemon with the new pokemon bank/transfer app. Its confirmed. The problem was people want to transfer from gen5 to gen6 but people worried about 3ds hacking and hacked pokemon. Gamefreak did both solutions. The pokemon online tourny back in july caught 1500 people using hacks! They apparently kno how to fix the problem yes be very happy!

The reason why I got Pokemon White 2 was because I wanted Ampharos *_* - who was exclusive to White 2 lol.

 

Hmmm I hate getting Pokemon in trades but I guess if worst case scenario happens...I might trade with someone here if I can find someone who is willing to trade with me :O

you only played the first o.O! Out of all the people (so far 96, waiting for another 4 they i'll make the survey thread) you and one other is coming back for XY that never playe generations 2-5! your in for one hell of a treat O.o

I might consider using the new pokemon but hopefully a lot of the old pokemon wont be affecting my party choice :P.

Also ugh, I need Pokemon bank in order to get the 2nd app to transfer pokemon? What the.....



should be grateful, other option they had is no cross generation transfer at all. they couldn't trade DS to 3DS hence the internet connection (pokemon bank). The first month is free however... But $5 a year is dirt cheap

yes, you'll get an entire different experience! Every generation had new mechanics! XY is goin to be so much different then Black/White Alone! Its a good thing though, you'll get to play with so many choices and get to choose from wayyyyy over 700 pokemon. In gen 1 everyone almost had same teams, now you wont ever see the same 6! Its going to be off the chartz
