Forums - Microsoft - Are Xbox One Pre-orders making a come back?

As you can see COD, Battlefield (only by a small margin) XBOX ONE Added more pre-orders. Is this the start of XBox One Pushing up their numbers?  I think Wal-mart posting up pre-order ads all over could be the reason for this.  However if they do start making head way, this is a good sign of things to come for MS. As everyone knows, Xbox One is $100 extra, this means $100 less on games. So I suspect numbers to be lower because of this little fact.

The Xbox Marketing Machine express has just starting kicking dust. You can expect this to get exciting.

Do you think this is a sign of things to come?

Around the Network

I think MS is doing a good job of turning around there mistakes. They should sweeten the deal a little bit more.

Dont forget, Competition among companies is good for us gamers! Nice to see Xone closing on preorders in US! I guess the tide is turning in favour for MS.

But now another game entered the charts and it's again a PS4 game, Destiny.

Maybe a little.

But better to accept that this is a long haul. ONE will start significantly behind PS4, lets see how it plays out in the long run.

I reckon once Xbone gets an official release date it will push the software right up

Around the Network

And lets not forget MS still hasnt confirmed an official release date. What will happen if Xone comes out on black friday week? Now that will be interesting :)

I don't know, the more I look at the charts, the more it seems like the PS4 and Xone are fighting their older siblings, rather than each other. The lineup this year for the current HD twins looks amazing. Aside from the games that will release on both generations you have GTA5, Arkham Origins, Diablo. Looks absolutely stunning.

I think it still clearly looks the case that the PS4 is and will be ahead in pre-orders by a decent margin, but with the current consoles and their software lineups being so strong I don't think the amount of sales at launch, or even in the first year will have a huge bearing on how the gen plays out.

That there is no WiiU software on the charts is worrying though, and I really thought Pokemon would have more pre-orders.

The chart is more telling in that XB1's biggest compettitor is the 360. Look at the pre-orders for the 360 games like Battlefield/COD. Their group will take more time to migrate, as they are not hard core gamers. They will come late in 2014 and beyond.

umm, off topic but wtf happened to Watch Dogs PS4. i thought it was up there with COD, BF4 and KZ:S last time.

on topic. yes MS are definitely turning things around now. the question is can they beat Sony in the long run in NA and will there luck change in EU

Fifa 14 got more pre-orders on 360 than PS3 that's weird.
