Pax Prime was 4 days by the way.

shit, this makes a 101 difference!!! 404 sales! almost half of 1k!!! o.O

I hope VGChartz counts those sales.

:P lol.

two things,
1) insignificant sales numbers are still insignificant
2) does it not piss you off that the game is clearly ready for US launch and physical retail copies are available, most likely have been since the eu/jp launch but they just didnt bother with the US, pushing US launch to 15th sept.

It tells me two things, firstly that Nintendos most important market is not all that important, secondly, they want to space out the releases of even the same games to avoid peaks and dips in sales - they get to say "we sold xxx in august and xxx in september", rather than "we sold xxx in august then barely anything in september".

Either way i think people are going to be way off (overestimating) the appeal of w101 in the us, and you can sure as hell bet i'll be back here late september when the NDP numbers confirm it to pull out the new "i told you so" sign ive been working on.

"i told you so" Makes you sound like your one of those guys that come here only when something bad happens such as W101 flop but will be hiding when pokemon xy will come out lol! Seriously though if that makes you happy, i'll be waiting with my 2DS Domination Sign

I have pokemon Y preordered so i'll be playing it - not hidng, and i'm failing to see what the 2DS release has to do with the topic at hand - though I should probably point out that if anything you should be hoping the 2DS flops, because any significant increase in sales for the 2DS would further increase demand for 2/3DS titles and continue to undermine the existance of the WiiU - Essentially hastening its demise.

Y pokemon? JK im getting Y as well, now i do hope 2DS explodes cuz it'll shut the f*** up the haters that say handheld is dying (US mostly). I dont think they'll downplay 3DS even though i understand wat you mean. How I see it, you get wat you pay for. Want the full Exp? should of forked up $40 cash on 3ds instead of 2ds! Anyway thats how i feel

I dont think you quite follow - right now the success of the 3DS is one of the contributing factors to the slow development and support of the WiiU - 2DS would increase overall sales of hw and sw for the 2/3DS platform - basically what im saying is, if the 2DS sells well then Nintendo have even more reason to focus on the handheld over their struggling console.

oh, my bad! i got you now! Well i want 2DS to boost sales by alot for my reasons posted earlier. Nintendo Would be f***ing stupid to put all devs only toward it. 2013 made 3DS have a good library with a couple good titles coming out in 2014. WiiU will have more games this time in 2014, they really do need to focus on the console more and with MK8+SSB with games like ZeldaU+X then 2014 will be the year (hopefully) of wiiu! With that said i hope nintendo not stupid enough cuz handheld doing well to only cater to that, by years end 3ds will be at least 41mil+.
