two things,
1) insignificant sales numbers are still insignificant
2) does it not piss you off that the game is clearly ready for US launch and physical retail copies are available, most likely have been since the eu/jp launch but they just didnt bother with the US, pushing US launch to 15th sept.
It tells me two things, firstly that Nintendos most important market is not all that important, secondly, they want to space out the releases of even the same games to avoid peaks and dips in sales - they get to say "we sold xxx in august and xxx in september", rather than "we sold xxx in august then barely anything in september".
Either way i think people are going to be way off (overestimating) the appeal of w101 in the us, and you can sure as hell bet i'll be back here late september when the NDP numbers confirm it to pull out the new "i told you so" sign ive been working on.
