Forums - Nintendo - Rayman Legends Sells More on Wii U Than Any Other Format (UK)

I'm curious as to how big of a deal this would have been to people if the the Wii U version had sold the worst of them... Wonder if it still would have been a matter of "oh well the game didn't sell anyway".

I think that this is a win for Wii U. Even if this was a desired games for Wii U owners, given the install base of Wii U in comparison to PS3 and XB360, it did very well on Wii U - in comparison, of course.
If it boosted sales for the console, even better.

It's not that the WiiU version was impressive, it's just that it bombed less

My thoughts exactly.

Thanks ryuzaki. Now this thread is complete.

I ordered my copy along with Zombi U yesterday from the UK amazon store as I get them for cheaper than it is in Sveden

can't wait for some family fun time with Rayman!

btw why don't people complain that it does not have online MP? ooh I see we only do that with Nintendo games

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

What, an Wii U multiplatform game selling more than on 360/PS3? No way! C'mon guys, quickly, let's try to downplay the fact it sold better with some excuses!

Digital foundry has also placed the Wii U version as the definitive version...one for Ninjablade to digest.

If it doesn't look like Read Dead Redemption, it doesn't matter.

Of course not, we would have had about five threads of "LOLOLOLOLOLOL Rayman sells better on PS360, Wii U is doooomd!!1one!"

Red Dead Redemption is better, so your point is invalid

Who was it he made that bet with that the next 5 multiplats would be inferior on Wii U? Cos he just lost. (Actually, he lost  back in May with Need for Speed, but tried to weasel out of it  by saying it wasn't a simultaneous release and didn't count, lulz)

Calling it now, he'll try to say the Wii U version is inferior cos TVs that don't correctly support its RGB solution can make it look washed out, despite Digitial Foundry clearly stating it's the definitive version. XD
