Eh, don't generalizate. I'm a xbox fan, and for all I care, VGChart'z could be full of negative threads about it. I wouldn't complain. Neither would I if it were positive threads.

The topic has been devalued so much. That seems to say you want to buy xone or you like is unpopular. I do not understand the desire of the people. Soon forget the mistakes of the competition.

I just want you all to know that, despite my constant criticisms of Xbone and Microsoft, I actually really DO want an Xbox One. I mean, I'm not willing to pay what microsoft is demanding of me to get the most out of the system, I hate Kinect with a passion, and the launch doesn't look that good, but I honestly do believe that in a year or two, it'll recover and be as good as the Xbox 360. Kinda like how the PS3 started terribly but ended up ahead.

Right now, though, I'm still happy with my PS4U combo. I have a WiiU set up next to me (even though I don't really play it that much due to lack of software), and I have a PS4 on pre-order, and I think that'll do me.

I really do want more reasons to get a One, because as a game reviewer I think it's important to be impartial and keep your options open (I have every gaming console currently on the market and I intend to keep it that way), but right now, this is how I see it:

1 - PS4 is cheaper (I don't make a tonne of money, this is a huge factor)
2 - the PS4 controller is cheaper when you factor in the lack of a need for battery packs
3 - The PS4 interfaces with my Vita (be nice to give that system more use)
4 - the PS4 is more powerful (So in theory, multiplats will be better on it rather than last gen)
5 - PS4 has inFamous and Killzone.
6 - PS4 has the option to get the PSEye as opposed to it being forced
7 - I've already got PS+ paid off till October 2014

Even as a professional I can't see any reasons to get an Xbox One right now. Unless you really like Kinect and/or halo or Forza, it kinda just plain isn't as good. Right now, it boils down to this:

If I get a PS4, it'll cost me 460 bucks with the eye.

If I get an Xbox One, it'll cost me 500 for the system, 20 for a battery pack for the controller, and 60/year for Xbox Live Gold.

with taxes, that's like almost 200 dollars of a difference for a system that, as I said, just isn't as powerful. the exclusives aren't enough to make up for that difference, and unlike last generation, the multiplats won't be better on the Microsoft console.

Ah crap, maybe I shouldn't have posted on here. now I'm just feeling all negative again.

Wait, what?  Where have you been the last eight years or so?  Trust me, every fanboy group needs its club dedicated to the cause, not just Xbox blokes.

Yeah I've seen Jay transform, he used to fall for the bait a lot more but his responses have become more of a kill em' with kindness tact, lol. 

All joking aside, has there been any real discussion anywhere of Shadow Complex 2? I mean besides us fanboys of the first one clamouring for more?

perhaps not now, b ut certainly back when Ps3 was failing miserably. 

You don't really need a rah rah type thread when you're constantly coming into other threads reassuring yourself and everyone else that your toy is better than the other and plays better games than the other.

Do you think a thread like this would have generated an ounce of healthy discussion had it been about, say, Ryse, or Killer Instinct,  and had  been posted in the MS section? No, it would have been hounded by people of the Playstation persuasion. You don't see that type of thing happen with similar threads from other fanbases. It gets old after awhile and isn't healthy for a forum. I have no interest at all in Knack and my opinion has been expressed about it before, so I see no reason in entering that thread just to be negative. I don't see why others don't follow that same logic, no matter what "side" they are on.

I think that with investors wanting msft to sell off the xbox devision, Balmer being forced out, etc, that the fans need this kind of thing. So i agree with what you seemed to imply.

Its not a thread to cheerlead and rah rah, its a thread talking about the positives amid the several topical threads that get trashed by the same old users time and time again. If people want to cheerlead, then so be it. I wont stop them. It doesnt put a downer on the thread. If people want to just turn up and try make things sour, then Ill wave at them as they leave.
