3DS #104 has sold as many copies as PSV #30. Maybe that's their issue.

It doesn't have anything to offer that is not on any other consoles..Thats how I feel at least (got PSP + Ps3).
Take my love, take my land..
Anyone who actually researches the games on the Vita knows damn well that the 'Vita has no games' meme is absolute nonsense. I just think more and more people are now waking up to that fact.
The PS5 Exists.

Its not that it doesnt have games, it has plenty just not the right ones. Multiplats and ports wont do alot ehen those games are on PS360 which has a 150m+ userbase. People dont buy new consoles to play games they already have access to.
Price cut on hardware and memory cards is a good start and they seem to be releasing the right games in Japan. Here in the west tho they need the games that have made all Playstation consoles successful. It needs an exclusive Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, God of War, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid along with all the ports, multiplats and indie titles
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
As to the why... because people in the internet love to hate and scream doom. It needs more exclusives and more sales though.

i'm not sure if marketing is the problem. Didn't the Vita have a rather large marketing push at launch (I think ReviewtechUSA spoke about it), an I think they advertised it during Champions league.
The problem is that most of the games are ports and indie games. And while those are great to have on the system, they are mostly fillers. The exclusives are the ones that matter the most. that's what Vita needs.
It has games, but the consumer doesn't care about those games. Just like back then the Wonderswan also had games(awesome ones, btw) and didn't managed to get a significant marketshare when going against the GBC.

Marketing as in letting people know these games exist! When even most people that go on game forums don't know these games exist or how great these games are, Sony has a problem. They spent some money early on but that dried up fast.
Also reviewtechUSA is a joke ;)
Because people are far more interested in the games offered by the Vita's main competitor, the PS3.
