They could never please everyone, just like everything else in life. I say just enjoy whatever system you will get, ignore them.

Although, X1 did have alot of problems with it at first. That MS had to turn around. That initial press conference was bad from what i remember, if you were a gamer. E3 was strong though. Also, people take their rights seriously you know.   

I'm gonna have to disagree here. It's not about "put downs" per se. It's about justified complaints. With the X1 reveal, they didn't focus on the gamers....you know...the people that are going to buy the console? There was speculation leading up to the reveal and they didn't address any of it, or if they did, it pissed people off, and rightly so.

They didn't show any games. They didn't show any indie developers. And they announced that you had to pay to play games you already paid for. If I'm a person that's think "hmmm, maybe I should get an X1" and then see *that*, I'd be pissed too.

It was a justifiable complaint against Sony's reveal as well. They may have showed some games and features of the consoles, but hey....the machine itsself could have been a tank. It could have been made of very cheap parts that break. It could have been anything. They could have at least showed an exterior prototype that didn't have any parts inside. I would like to know what I'm putting in my living room.

I always thought F2P is gaining a lot of traction because companies see great potential in getting their games into the hands of millions of gamers due to being free of cost and then making big money on IAP. That and Pay to Play MMOs weren't doing well if they weren't called World of Warcraft, so they needed to think differently in order to gain traction in that competitive market.

Never heard of it being due to 2nd hand sales, although I wouldn't be surprised considering it seems to be the scapegoat for anything and everything gaming related these days.

It also doesn't make people nerdy crybabies because they complained about the XBone reveal. That got criticized for good reason. They had tons of things surrounding console before the reveal, whether it be used game sales, digital only, what their newly formed 1st party studios were working on, always on DRM, etc... and instead of addressing any of that they instead opted to ignore it completely. Then they say they will let them know about those things in the future. Then E3 comes and goes and peoples concerns were realized and consumers voted with their wallets and that caused MS to need to make changes.

Only in this industry do we constantly berate the consumer. They were right about the btiching and whining.

The complaining and back and forth NOW? Yes, now it is petty arguments about FLOPs, CPU Speeds, etc..., but those initial complaints from Feb-July? 100% justified and MS' quick turn around only fortifies that belief.

Well, I can't really understand your point, as I find funny all the things you criticize. And internet was a big word, let's just say the social part of the internet.

No he just hates freedom of speech when he don't agree with the majority of people.
