Wasn't the issue solved from the beginning? With the 3D Slider? You can turn the 3D off. Nintendo even marketed that.

Anyhow, I can't believe none of you feel as though the 2DS was a call for help. I've lost all hope in the VGC community.

if somebody had no interest in 3D why would tey buy a 3DS($170) over a 2DS($130). Your dislike for the 2DS has blinded you. Nobody agrees with you cuz Nintendo doesn't need help, this is a big opportunity to make 3DS sell more cuz people will see $130 is a great price for gaming vs 3DS XL or Vita ($200 and vita with memory = $215-$280). Nobody says they like the design, 95% hate it but then again 3-8 year old kids wont care, neither will others that buy it cuz it'll stay inside the house. One more thing, its funny how you said VGChart community, that made me laugh

Does the 3DS also cost $129?  It's a cheaper, entry level version of  the 3DS. Why do you somehow think that's a bad idea?

Why do people keep referring to Rol? This thread has absolutely no relation to anything Rol ever does.

It is a call to help in the sense that it is a more profitable version of the 3ds while also being lower priced.
