Forums - Nintendo - Need Help with Subspace Emissionary *Possible Spoilers*

Hey everyone. I recently imported Super Smash Bros Brawl to play on my pal Wii in Australia (seeing as we probably wont see the game until this coming Christmas) and have been playing through the Subspace Emissionary mode.

I've been playing through it fine as there is barely any text. I've just reached 65% completion and have recently unlocked Luigi and Ganon. The last cut scene was wario driving his motorbike up some stairs towards the place where Taboo summoned all those levels in bubbles. Now on the SSE map, the next location for me to go is in the Subspace with an exclamation mark, so i chose my character and play, however it seems to be the start of the game again and i fight the same boss (Petey Piranah) and play the same levels. Is this right? I played it for a good 15 minutes and reached no more cut scenes. Surely it's not the end of the game? Have i done something wrong?

I was wondering if anyone else who has imported the game or any japanese players or anyone who might know something could help me out?

Thanks :)

How is SSE anyways? Does it actually feel like a real singleplayer experience, or like some kind of crappy addon like melee's adventure mode?

Yeah, I finally have a sig.

The last level you have to pretty much fight all the bosses again, you are doing it right.

Oh yea and there are no cutscenes through it, that overworld map you see is just the one level. This part is said to take a while.

I want SSBB NOA!!!

But the wait is worse for the other regions.

But still!

Thanks, i played around with it and realised you need to beat all the bosses and all the characters' shadows. Can anyone tell me if sonic is in SSE?

@ linkthe2nd - SSE is amazing, the cut scenes make it so epic and any nintendo fan will certainly enjoy the most famous nintendo characters working together to fight off evil. It's still side-scrolling battle like in melee, but then there's added boss fights, multiple characters, multi-player and there's just the right amount of gameplay until the level is tied together nicely with great cut-scenes which really add to the experience.

Yeah it's taken me about an hour and a half already and there's still about 7 battles to go! There's a bit of backtracking here too. Do you know if this is the final level or is there stuff afterward?
