My friend recently started a youtube channel and I told her how I sometimes participate on a gaming forums, so she basically asked me to post one of her videos here so that she can get some input and advice on how to make her videos more entertaining.

So here's a link to one of her videos. You can leave any tips for her here and I'll pass them alone or if you want you're more than welcome to send her messages or comments on her youtube.





I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Yeah.. Since i don't know if she is a minor or adult I'm not gonna comment.. Nothing to do with the video, which was fine.. More to do with trouble with the authorities.. Again.. She said she was 18..

Shes older than 18 lol. MUCH older. She just looks young.

It's hard these days to achieve fame as a gamer on youtube because everyone does it. You need to be truly original.

Allrighty then.. So I'm a markting Guy and this will sound sexist.. Which it is.. But she should show herself a tiny bit more.. She's a fine looking lady don't be ashamed to show that.. She could like tape an intro introducing the game filming herself for the first 25 seconds before going into the game.. She could also create a leader with her logo and name (like ign, gamespot have) before and after the entire video.. So its really becomes her product and not just some gameplay video with some voiceover.. And stick to ~6 minutes.. 8 minutes is too long nowadays

Appears to be someone looking for attention on youtube, doing pretty much the same as many others before her. The cleavage and Colgate smiles on the video thumbnails further cement this impression.

I'm sure she's a fun girl and all that but there's really not that much to see and hear that others aren't doing better.

She said she's doing mobil games for now till she gets the hang of it, and if she gets a decent number of subscribers she'll branch out to pc and maybe consoles as well. She's only been doing it for a week now so she's still learning how to be natural "on cam" so to speak. There's some videos where I can tell she's trying, and other where she's just being herself. I like the ones where she's being herself.

I like her voice but think she needs more interesting subjects to talk about. Still not bad will check out some more videos.

They're hit and miss at this point since she's just starting out and learning to be confortable and be herself, but I think she does a pretty good job for someone just starting out, but I agree she does need to learn to keep things interesting.
