Good news is that MSFT said that sometime in the near future they may make a white model for the public as well. Just a headsup.

Yeah I think so. So you admit it's psychological, correct?

Original 360 was white, then when Elite and Slim released everyone was "wow".

And everyone fapped at white PS3s (including me). But it was only because we were used to black PS3's.

Now we're already tired of black Xbones and PS4s.

Speaking of which, how many SKUs do you own of current gen consoles?

I think some people are like that, but some are like me and like white for the reasons in the OP.  

no matter how nice a white device is.... it has no place in a media center set up that is not for show but for serious entertainment display.... not only very few devices are white so it would be a wart in the middle of the rest, but white is the worst color for light and video... it's the greenhouse gas of the entertainment center.... nothing white will ever enter my media room..... this was a big reason for me to switch to a XB slim when I had a perfectly working XB360

I prefer the white one :) But it will not fit in my living room with other black devices, so I'll go for the black one.

I'd take the white console.

Black Wii U and White Xbox One will look good together.

I like the white version, and if that version gets released, I would buy it. I'm hoping that Sony releases a white version of the PS4 as well. My gaming PC has a white case, so a white Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One would look nice in my living room.
