Nope, it's niche. But I thought it would do more than the 50-60k lifetime that it looks like right now. Hell, I was multiple times on amazon almost pulling the trigger for an import copy since I haven't touched my Vita in months. From my personal experience I bought some games for the device that I normally wouldn't just to have "something" to play. I expected more people to have a similar mindset like that especially since the game reviewed well.

But why would you buy Dragon's Crown for the "sake of it" when Rayman is out next week and KillZone the week after?

when people say they were expecting a boost for Vita due to Dragon's Crown, I wonder if their is something wrong with them or they are trolling. Gotta be the latter. Their is a better version of the game on PS3, the system with the much bigger install base? Hell im surprised the Vita version is doing as well as it is, considering the damn PS3 version COMES with a Vita version. ANd im pretty sure they are not counting those toward Vita sales as they are digital versions. lets get real people

I doubt he would, its just BS especially when said game is on PS3. So most interested parties would get it for that, no one is buying a handheld to play a game they can play on their home console.

the numbers don't looks fun anymore, let the next gen wars begin!!.

That's what I said, it did nothing.

I'm guessing you mean "nothing to the baseline level".

In which case, final question: What were your expectations?  Did you think Dragon's Crown was going to give a lasting boost on Vita's performance in the USA?

You could always sell your Vita, if your not using it.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I didn't say that DC is one of the games I normally wouldn't buy, I am actually interested in it. I also didn't plan to purchase Rayman but after the positive reviews I shifted my Zelda preorder money over to Rayman for now. That was yesterday and it was spontaneous. I'm not a FPS player so Killzone doesn't interest me at all.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I guess Walmart did not hear the news? It is still over 200 at my local stores, and they still only have 3 games on the shelves for it. including some sports game.

But I am sure once the price is down people will come in droves to play those three games.

Just 3? Stores near me are getting stockpiles of Vita games, and I don't even live in a nation which is a major market for games.

Except I will take pictures to prove it. I highly doubt you can do the same. From what I have seen of the sales, there is not chance in Hell that what you say is true. I guess I love Nintendo, so I would probably say the same thing about the Wii U.

I get this from time to time, thanks for trying though.

I'm not going to go to the store in the middle of the bight to take pictures :P.

And I'm saying the truth, guess you just can't take it. And the Vita is doing well on Amazon US and especially Amazon UK, look it up.

I more meant the "more people to have a similar mindset" I'd guess that was why they didn't? I want all 3 personally, but the 10/10 reviews I've read for Rayman and the Vita ver being arguably the best one make that too much to resist at the moment.

I'm not normally much of an FPS player, but KillZone I do generally really enjoy. The Vita one looks incredible and the more I see of it, the more I want it!

Dragons Crown will have to wait until the UK release in October :p

that E1000 model with no wifi and a mono speaker is dirt cheap here and normally see it bundled with a handful of amazing psp games. This number isn't surprising, EU loves the PSP

Edit - Holy crap at those 3ds numbers 40880 new people for me to street pass this week :D That thing is selling faster than the hottest of hotcakes.
