Lol I hated both of those games ^^ Sleeping dog's more so than TR.
But im glad they made profit, I hate seeing game companies go not making any.

Definitly liked sleeping dogs and would like more. This time, without rushing the story towards the end to meet deadlines.
The idea of persistant online worlds is gonna blow on everyones hands. There just arent enough players to keep all upcoming online worlds populated. Just stick to a great single player. Thats what made the game have legs and sell.
funny they just released a bundle pack with sleeping dogs and tomb raider for a great price
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

you should check the DLC out some of it is really good
Wait... what?
I enjoyed Sleeping Dogs a lot, platinumed. But what have 500.000 players to do with this? Are they new players? Are they old players who still play online... wtf is this news? Did these just buy the game?
I'm drunk, and confused...
Btw if you can compare these two, Sleeping Dogs owns GTA by miles. (propably lose cred with this)

Well, ive been playing games since God knows when and after playing quit a bit of GTA SA and GTA IV, I can safely say 'Sleeping Dogs' was far better in controls and story. So gameplay + story owns generic beat m up, drive around, dudebro game? (yeah i know, personal matter)
I do like the fact that SD actually made some profit. deserved imho. Voice acting was outstanding.

I just bought all the DLC for like 10 dollars in sleeping dogs. Generally Speaking though. SE's DLC has been pretty lackluster, Mostly involving costumes and/or crappy quests. The missing link was pretty good though too expensive at release, and the last sleeping dog one as well. |
I haven't downloaded any of the Sleeping Dogs DLC. You think they're worth it then?

Definetly not at full price. I got it for like 12 dollars for all DLC.
If on sale it depends how much extra races/swat type missions interest you. The Missions, clothes, make the game a bit more full, so if you're going to go again from the start then maybe. There's also 2 separate campaigns that its own screen Nightmare at North Point and Year of the Snake.
Only the last one Year of the snake is brings much extra as it's a nice cap to the end of the game. And even then it's a separate campaign like Missing Link. Which is dissapointing as your garage, clothes, everything isn't there so it doesn't feel like your "Wei".
So sad that Tomb Raider sold 4 million, is the fastest selling entry in the series, and STILL fell short of their expectations.
It's just absurd really.
Anyway, I loved the game, and I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel
Sleeping Dogs is a really good game and should not be overlooked. Whoever hasn't played it should, they are going to have a great time!
