Remember November

Well, being released before the PS4 would give it an advantage, but I wonder when they will announce the release date.

would be a great markting plan if they did realse on the 5th of nov

remember remember the 5th of the november

THis has been the Date that I personally would have guessed now that Sony picked its date for PS4.  M$ has been going first on most of it's announcements and that hasn't worked very well so far for them.  I am guessing that they knew that Sony was going on or about the 15th, so they scaled back their launch country total to ensure they had enough systems for their Europe launch in the Key countries to them.  In America, they need the 5th to get their own press for a week before the PS4 onslaught.

Why release the same day as Call of Duty only to be overshadowed by Call of Duty? I said it a while ago that both will wait until after Ghosts release because it is absolutely a game that has to be available on launch day but you want the launch to be the main event not just one game.

That's why anyone that believe the October PS4 launch rumors were delusional.

Yes, Sony announced the PS4 first, but didn't even show the unit at all.  We all knew they were both coming out this year.

I meant that M$ announced key elemnts first only to allow Sony to focus on their differences when they had their conference a few hours later.  Sony admitted they changed their E3 presentation to put more emphasis on NON DRM.  M$ releasded their console price First and Sony announced after.  I think M$ didn't have much left to announce besides the launch date at this point, so they waited to see if they could get some type of tactical advantage.
