Famitsu has awarded The Wonderful 101 with a near-perfect score. The Japanese video game magazine gave the upcoming action game a 39/40. Despite achieving the high number, the game’s director, Hideki Kamiya, recently expressed his disdain toward review scores. Kamiya previously stated that he thinks the game will not need DLC. The Wonderful 101 will launch exclusively for Wii U in Europe on August 23rd and in North America on September 15th.

They tend to award good scores to "Japanese" games. No offense but I can recall that they gave resident evil 6 39/40. From my point of view famitsu gives a biased review.

 But Skyrim got a perfect score of 40/40. And four Western games got 39's in 2011 alone.

Not as good as Nintendogs? Pre-order cancelled.

I didnt said they gives bad scores to western games but they gives good scores to "Japanese" games that arent good enough. Look at naruto shippuden ultimate ninja storm 2, 3 (I love naruto games), bayonetta or MGR Revengence scores. They got perfect or near perfect score. Their score varies because their tase is different from western reviewers.

And as I have said "From my point of view famitsu gives a biased review." but I appriciate others view that is different from mine.

Famitsu is well known to accept payoffs in exchange for high scores. Famitsu scored Final Fantasy 13 a 39 and Final Fantasy 13-2 a perfect 40. With how mixed the fanbase is for these games, four different reviews scored near perfect or perfect. I think I made my point.
