It definitely has! But still some can't or won't afford it, sadly. The Kinect Sports Rival scanning tech looked so awesome yesterday, Kinect surely evolved a lot.

I agree that it is a little out of some people's price range. I do think they should cut 50$ off and not drop the xbox 360 price. This would make the jump a lot easier.

It's a nice move but with their limited release, makes less of an impressive impact. I think the UK is a 'too close to call' but this will help there.

Majority of sales of FIFA come in first week and then prior to Christmas, neither of which Xbone is releasing for in some countries. By then FIFA isn't exactly on people's minds anymore. If they are going to get it anyway, they wouldn't wait, they'd buy it for the 360.

As Kratos already pointed out. This will be available in selected markets, partially as a sort of an "apology" for the late launch. For example, in my country the biggest gaming site speculated that the Xbone will be available as soon as spring, maybe even as late as May-June. That's a big middle finger to the Polish gamers and I don't think Fifa will convince anyone but the already convinced to wait that long.

In the EU people waited a whole year for the PS3, if you want to talk about a middle finger but most of the people over there forgave Sony pretty quick.  I believe people will be able to do the same if the X1 has the game and features you want.  If it truly releases that late then you just have a better time evaluating if the console has what you want much better.


Lol no, they have not waited a year since PS3' launch was not intended to release in 2005 like the Xbox, so it wasn't a middle finger, MS now chooses to delay the Polish launch, theywaited almost 5 months though, that combined with a price advantage was in my opinion a significant reason why 360 was a success in Europe.

PS. And instead of evaluating, I would rather do what I enjoy, so playing games on my PS4.

It is a great move but MS needs to fix their marketing and they need to release their console in all the countrys first to make it all worthwhile.

im not saying Kinect isnt worth the extra $100

that dosent change the fact that PS4 is $100 cheaper than the cheapest XBO SKU

Possible that the PS3 12 gb SKU is coming to US for 199$, IIRC.

I agree with this, they need to move up some dates. They are most likely doing this to cheapen cost, not sure why they would do this. However I expect them to try to match PS4 as fast as they can or get close.

I had no interest in Kinect Sports but I have to say after watching that video from Rare, I became very interested in the game.  I would also state that its a shame that Kinect sports is not releasing with the console because if Rare is able to nail the experience, that could be the casual AAA like Wii sports was to the Wii.  The scanning tech is something that impressed me a lot because if it works the way the video present, it gives Kinect that next gen type of feel.
