Erik Erikson's theory of psychosocial development is one of the best-known theories of personality in psychology. Much like Sigmund Freud, Erikson believed that personality develops in a series of stages. Unlike Freud's theory of psychosexual stages, Erikson's theory describes the impact of social experience across the whole lifespan.

One of the main elements of Erikson's psychosocial stage theory is the development of ego identity. Ego identity is the conscious sense of self that we develop through social interaction. According to Erikson, our ego identity is constantly changing due to new experiences and information we acquire in our daily interactions with others.

Not a new buyer. Already pre-ordered both consoles since E3. It is a pity that X1 will not be released in Holland till 2014, so PS4 will be the only choice for the end of 2013.

Nowadays, I really think in order to gain the maximum gaming experience, you must own all consoles. I already had my Wii U since last November, and I will complete the next gen consoles in 2014 when X1 is launched in my country.

I bought the Kinect when it launched and I've barely touched it since. I'm just tired of motion gaming and Kinect 2.0 hasn't really shown anything that will change my mind. 

When you need to touch kinect you are doing it wrong ;)

I'm not sure I'll be buying any of the next gen consoles now.

Only a 3 door garage and a lighting rig will be my measure of success now!

I've actually been sold on the Xbox. I was waiting for sony to match them in AAA games, because I prefer their hardware, pricepoint and generally sony as a company, but I guess their teams are really stretched between the 3 platforms (PS4, PS3, Vita). Its also a shame to see that sony don't really seem like they're going to push that camera accessory, so I'm excited about how Kinect 2 will be utilised.

On Xbox One I'm looking forward to: Project Spark, Titanfall, Fable and sunset Overdrive. Their launch titles are also more appealing to me.

On PS4 I'm only really looking forward The Order and infamous to a lessor extent.

But I've decided I'll wait till 2014 before deciding. I'll wait to see how things fall into place, but will probably end up getting both at some point in 2015. In the meantime I'll make the most of my PS3 and Vita- Pupetteer, Lightnings Return, Borderlands 2 Vita, Fez Vita, Minecraft Vita and Tearaway all have my name on it.

I'm also looking very closely at getting a 3DS for Pokemon, luigi's mansion and Zelda Ocarina of time 3D and Link to the past 2.
