You think I'm joking? That will only benefit the game (and others as well).
I'm sure trigger feedback will be like controller rumble...I can't imagine playing a game without that.

I don't exactly understand what impulse triggers are. Do they vibrate or something?

I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt that you weren't simply trumping up a controller feature in a thread about a game. But I guess you don't have any comments about the game itself.
I know the first thing I think of when I consider purchasing a game is the controller feedback. Man, yep, that's totally compelling for me. Gosh if I knew a game didn't have any feedback, you know I just couldn't bring myself to get it. It's that important.
^is this your line of thought? Because you certainly have made it out that way. And perhaps now you understand my amusement with the posted comments?

I said the game looks great and I haven't heard or seen enough of it to really add anything else to that. I am, however, genuinely excited about the feedback for the triggers...it's one of the things I'm excited for the most about the X1 TBH (the trigger feedback is referenced in the video in case you didn't read that...so I was simply commenting on that). Most X1 games will have trigger feedback and I know it's going to only enhance gameplay. It's certainly not a dealbreaker if a game doesn't have that but I know just like controller rumble it will be nicer with it than without.
Why are you trying to act like I'm an idiot for getting excited about this?
@ryderz: From what I've heard it's similar to the haptic feedback (of varying degrees) in a smartphone.

I never implied you were an idiot for it. I simply do not understand the excitement over what I consider such an insignificant thing. Shouldn't you be expecting ALL XBO games to use this feature? It's more appropriate to consider why this particular title is of importance, how it differentiates itself from other titles, and not how it's similar.
It's like going into a topic about the bluray release of a particular movie and saying oh man I'm so hyped for the pause feature.

It was actually referenced in the video where the guy says "I wish you guys were here to hold the controller..." and then he goes off to explain how the trigger feedback is. So I was perfectly in line when I referenced that because I am excited for it.
If controllers already had trigger feedback it would not be worth mentioning it like I did, but because me, and most everyone else, have not tried it yet, it is worth mentioning that I am really looking forward to that aspect...especially in Forza 5.
You would be excited about a pause feature if, before that, there had never been such a thing. When you're looking forward to something that you've never tried, you're going to talk about it. After you've become used to it, and it becomes normal, then you probably won't talk about it because it's a given at that point. See what I'm saying?
Funny thing. In Gran Turismo case, same people will say "blunt track environment; paper trees; boring landscape". But in Forza it's just "Real track look like it".
In that video, Laguna Seca itself isn't that better than in GT5 or Forza 4. Lightning and special effects are, but not circuit itself. And driving is the same as it was. Like they never worked to tweak it or improve physics.

It is better because its up to date on how it looks with the adds plus you obviously didn't notice the helicopter fly by something that isn't in Forza 4 and GT5.
Oh right, I forgot how helicopter high in the skies matters the most in racing game. Maybe those birds that fly in GT6 give that game a next-gen look, even on PS3 ))
And billboard commercial too, is most important.
Its just a nice added bonus that makes a otherwise pretty dull looking track look better. Let's face it Laguna Seca is a pretty dull looking track and so is the other track that was also anounced last week Spa-Francorchamps. I'm sure I going to like the birds in GT6. I liked all the extra background stuff in Forza Horizon. The only visually stunning track in Forza 5 so far is the Prague circuit.
