SONY CONFERENCE INCOMING! WATCH IT HERE!

Gamescom has begun! Here's the latest news:

• Fable Legends has been announced. Here's a brief runthrough:

"A hero fights some goblin-like redcaps on a clifftop, giving himself a running commentary as he does so: "our hero enters the scene: brave, charming, capable of self-narration." It's a good-humoured fairytale, just like Fable has always been.

But there is a difference. The hero on-screen, a Prince Charming type who flourishes a rapier and wise-cracks in classic Fable style - is just one of four working together. The other three - a fabulously-attired magician, a female warrior with a shield that looks like it weighs as much as she does, a crossbow-wielding archer - are controlled by other players. And the enemies are controlled by another, fifth player: the villain. From a top-down perspective, the villain controls the heroes' quest, placing enemies, traps, ambushes and more in their path as they play. He's the classic dungeon master."

• There will be a Call Of Duty Xbox One Bundle
• In addition, all pre-ordered Xbox One systems will come free with FIFA 14.
• The Fighter Within has been revealed, and it's a Kinect title. It doesn't look that great, but judge for yourself.
• Looks like Ryse: Son of Rome won't be all QTE's after all, but I'm waiting for more information on that one.
• Microsoft have confirmed their launch lineup! Here it is:

And we also have EA's conference at 7AM Pacific/10AM Eastern/3PM UK, followed by Sony's conference at 10AM Pacific/1PM Eastern/6PM UK, where we will know when and where the PS4 will be launching, as well as a mystery reveal? So, what do we expect to be revealed? Naughty Dog's new game? Zelda? Halo? Who knows, but we should find out soon! In addition, here's a list of games we KNOW will be at Gamescom!

I'm confused. Is there a press conference for Microsoft are not?

There's a conference, I believe. Just no livestream of it. So I'll be following a liveblog from, say, IGN (which I will also place in the OP), whilst I also update the OP with my thoughts.

There is no Nintendo conference to the best of my knowledge. Only EA and Sony will be livestreaming their conferences.

Would have wished Ubisoft would have had a press confernece :(. They always seem to deliver.

Nintendo will be present. However, they aren't holding a conference. There may be a Direct this week, though. If there is then I'd include it here. 

Also, if you can show me the other threads which are livestreaming the conferences and providing reaction to each of them then I'd lock this thread. You need proof in my court, Mr. Ryan!

I agree. Probably means no additional news of their games from E3 :/

I'm intrigued to see what Rockstar show. 

So? It's better than it just being like at E3. And the people who follow gaming will watch the Directs, everyone else will just buy the games from the ads, no?

It's a win-win for everyone. Though, it would be nice if they went all out at E3.
