Sorry, it must be my fault. Maybe I'm living on another planet....That must be the reason that you didn't understood yet that what i'm talking is about console sales, and not the finances of Microsoft. That the one "at risk" COULD be xbox one as a console and not Microsoft as a company. That to me, selling FIFA 14 free, and still be more expensive than the ps4 deal is a mistake. That this mistake is a sign that Microsoft is desperate, and in conclusion, that if Microsoft is desperate it's because things are not going the way they want. 

All of this could mean nothing if Microsoft makes things right, sells well worldwide and is considered a successful product like x360 was, and they can definitely do it.

Nice move, that's cheaper than reducing the price of the console. However, MS should give people a few options on a bundled game.

You do realize that Peter Moore, over at EA, was the head of the Xbox team at one point, don't you?

It may be just an inkind business exchange.  Where Microsoft gives EA something in exchange for a strong partnership.  Like, servers in the cloud at a reduced price or free for a fixed period.  Microsoft doesn't pay any money, and EA doesn't receive any money, but they both get something out of the deal that makes the arrangement worth it.

If MS could survive 24mn sales of XBox original, I think they can survive being in second place for the third generation with X1 :). It is all about the revenue and pleasing shareholders :). Btw, awesome if true since we in countries that do not receive a launch X1 also get a free game :).
