Well... that's what I'm looking for.

I agree with both of you. I agree that when you are a known employee of a company and you speak about that companies business to media or in the public then you are in fact representing that company to the general public. However, I think we, as forum goers, should be smarter than the general public and be able to dismiss what that individual is saying in our conversations when it is brought up |
Great post Max
both consoles are like their predeccesors which are like THEIR predeccesors, etc. the PS4 is a beefed up PS3 which is a beefed up PS2 which is a beefed up PSX which is arguably a beefed up SNES. XboxOne is a beefed up 360 which is a beefed up OrgXbox.
Isn't that "PS4 a more powerful PS3" true, anyway? About the "Xbox One paradigm shift" part, that's a known PR talk and I don't believe anyone takes this seriously.

Even if it's true (which is not), I don't really care. All I want from next-gen consoles is more power, and that's it.
Give me a powerful gaming machine that is not a PC and I'll buy it with a smile on my face.
Fascinating, like how the Wii U is is just a more powerful Wii and with the DS and PSP. Yes, more unqine feature is needed, but at these end, these machines are gaming consoles, built to play games. If the consoles have games, gamer will buy it. The Xbox brand is popular but it's just another brand that will die out, just like the Zune and Surface brand Microsoft. (Though I hope not)

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen. By: Suke |
A M$ Public Relations rep says the competition's console is rubbish, and that their's is superior... See this face?... I'm utterly shocked...
Some devices actually are just progressions of what is already available. I'd say the SNES was a beefed up Nes but I wouldn't say the Wii was a beefed up Gamecube. I wouldn't say that the DS was just a more powerful GBA but I would say that the 3DS was just a more powerful DS. It's not a bad thing.
To be honest, I made a big deal earlier but it remains to be seen if the PS4 and Xbox One are just natural progression or huge leaps from the previously laid groundwork. I do think M$'s focus on Kinect (for better or worse) is what will make that console unique. We'll see.
I don't get the point. You can pretty much say that about any series of gaming systems.
