The only real difference between the PS4 and XO is that Sony decided to appeal to gamers first while Microsoft decided to appeal to people who were looking to replace their cable box. Beyond that, and Kinect/+$100, they're the same machine.

I didn't know the PS3 could multitask, if by a "more powerful PS3" that's what it means, then yeah. It's a more powerful PS3, and that power allows it to do stuff like Spectator mode, Share videos on the fly, open the web browser while playing, and a wide arrange of features I'm sure will all be able at the press of a button while in game or running other apps in the background. What's so different about Xbone in this regard? Absolutely nothing. PS3 is not able to take advantage of features like Spectator mode or Help-a-buddy online, it can't even do cross-game chat, and PS4 will have cross-game video! So really, what is this "PS3+" shit you're spouting here? Get real, PS4 is just as "complete" as the Xbone will be and then some.

I just gave my "personal" oppinion and even said it was still a very good/powerful machine. If you don't like it, that's your problem, not mine.

Deal with Viacom
PS+ (free games)
Vita integration
Pad/Phone/Laptop integration
Free apps, browser and FTP games. (no extra fee required)

But it won't plug into your cable box. DAMN!

Microsoft got bored of destroying the image of their own console, and now they want to make PS4 look better with free publicity for sony.

Way to go Microsoft!!!

Well, yeah, I could.  I just don't feel like this.  Sure, I would point out something but then you'd find a caveman drawing of something else and say that Sony didn't react to the competition.  I wasn't going to mention the Wii Remote or or the SNES controller layout but what's the point?  You're one of those guys that feel that Sony can do no wrong.  If I said Trophies were a direct response to Achievements or something, you'd say that was Sony's plan all along.  Not in the mood.  Maybe another day.

The 'company can do no wrong for fans' line goes both ways. Even three.

So that's why MS have been scrambling to reverse a lot of there policies since the clusterfuck of a reveal and E3? As time went by, MS was trying to make the Xbone more and more in line with Sony 's PS4 policies. EDITED

Calling the PS4 simply a new PS3 is ignoring one of the biggest issues with the PS3, that it was not easy to make games on due to its architecture. The cell was an interesting idea, but it added months to development time as companies spent long period figuring it out. Now, those that did (Naughty Dog) made amazing games, but many just tried to figure out how to make it work like existing architecture and rarely used it to its limits.

PS4 is a very simple (relatively) designed system that was made from the ground up with this in mind. My hope is this means shorter development cycles or more development time spent refining games and hopefully reduce costs while more games are available for me.

Also, it is $200 cheaper at day one which is huge to me as well.
