I'm not hating just to hate, but I just realise something, remember back in the nineties to the early two thousands, Mario was known as the face of gaming. Mario is the Mickey Mouse of the gaming industry as Sonic was the Bugs Bunny of the industry. Pac-man and Donkey Kong was known as idols in there days, put a good light for games. Ain't it sad that today, when an adult think of gaming, the first thing that pop to their head is Call of Duty. Call of Duty had pretty much because the new .....Mickey Mouse of gaming aka image.

Never really played any of the COD games except for a couple of minutes. That being said that MW3 360 bundle in the pick was one of the best special edition 360 that was ever released. The Star Wars one was probably the coolest but it also came with one of the worst games.

I disagree, mario is still the face of gaming.  Everyone knows who mario is, not everyone knows what cod is.

Why? It started with the PS2 but it really wasn't until this generation that being an adult who played video-games was widely accepted. I rather like the situation we have now. I don't play CoD but I will certainly admit that opened up the industry in new directions.

Besides, it's just perception. This is the most varied generation we've ever had, which I think is awesome. It's not like Mario or Pokemon has gone anywhere.

I refuse to face this fact.

Even CoD is a far more honorable candidate.

That's not a face

But Angry Birds is far more recognizable outside the core gaming cicles.
