Is it wrong that I've never played a Pokemon game? Am I really missing anything that special? I'm genuinely curious. I do enjoy RPGs, but I was in my late teens by the time the Pokemon craze hit and at the time it seemed like something for younger kids.

Personally i was pondering pre-ordering it, but given how fast pre-orders are rising maybe i should put mine in soon. It wont be interesting if the game sells out and i cant get my copy. Its my most antecipated title at the moment. :)

I just hope the high sales wont delay the release date.

Nothing wrong with it. There are just too many games out there to be able to play everything you "should" play. But it's not like it's too late if you're interested in trying a Pokémon game. They are really well-made and I believe people of all ages can enjoy them.

And still there is bound to be idiots out there declaring Nintendo are doomed...this game is gonna sell sell and sell some more.
