Forums - Sales Discussion - Analyst: "Slow PlayStation Vita sales could lead to loss of first party support."

Isn´t it a good thing that Sony are expanding into mobile gaming aswell?

Around the Network

The Vita's future lies in Japanese developers but that includes Sony's Japan studio.

But otherwise I think they're right, I believe studios like Bend will move to the ps4. By 2015 the Vita will be streaming PS3 games and still be home to great indie titles, I think that will compensate for a lack of interest from the western developers including sonys own 1st parties.

That is true. From the west it will be mainly indies and Sony first party. Maybe Ubi throws some stuff in there aswell since Assassins creed liberation did well.

This is not a problem exclusive to the Vita though. Its the same with the 3DS. Nintendo just supports the system better than Sony does.
