Nothing more then wishfull thinking for nin to fail, their handhelds have always done great.  

But with consoles they are hit or miss.  Many calling wiiu dead in the water or irrelevnt liek GC is legit nuff, Ninty can only dream wiiu can hit N64 numbers. 

Interesting how you subconsciously write in first person without noticing it. Just read ur opening and then your judgment about JL afterwards. Ds,Wii --> 3Ds, WiiU. Why is it possible for a person to have such a short memory? Why you don´t evolve from past experience(your own mistakes)???

Chapeau!!, to your opening posting and your thread. Especially your last wallpost was very informative. You shouldn´t have posted it here though. You should have written some more and published it as an ebook for $ 1,99. You wrote so much true things. ( Nintendo frst party third party conflict, Nintendo always with the market, don´t have HD on board when there are no HD televisions around, and and and)

Concerning Reece: He´s lurking through this thread and seems like a pirnaha bitten into a cowtail. Never gonna let it go. Like a windmill he´s repeating and repeating his monotonous breeze: "Prediction 13m failed, prediciton 13m failed, prediction 13m failed.

You may explain him 100 times more that it´s about the big picture and not one prediction thrown onto the table, he won´t understand it. He´s craving for attention and anybody to tell him that he is right and you are wrong, meanwhile being destructive. I wonder why no one stops him?? Just ignore him and he gets mad and annoyed like hell as everybody can observe. XD

Concerning Mummel: At the beginning it seemed like he really wanted to discuss with you but his last posting, trying to analyze you, showed his true colors. He sees you as some kind of pinguin and himself as the dark knight. John Lucas, If you would discuss the accurateness of swiss watches, or the quality of light bulbs- Mummelman would be there for sure. As he confirmed some pages ago, he just likes debating and that´s it. Don´t waste your time on him.

1) It's Seece, get it right please.

2) I'm repeating and repeating and debunking this thread one sales fact at a time, don't like that? Tough. You can't use arguments to shoot down the OP, it goes ignored by the masses, Mummel is trying his best but as you can see, JL is using shady tactics because he isn't even a tenth as savvy as Mummel is.

3) The prediction was 12m not 13m, and it'll fall short by millions. Why does the matter? Because if he got this prediction wrong witch all the knowledge he had at the time, how the heck is he suppose to accurately predict 3 years down the line?

4) Oh I get what the OP is about, I've stated it 100 times myself. He thinks MS and Sony will somehow have to leave the industry but doesn't explain why, how Nintendo are amazing, and how they're going to sell 240 million consoles, but doesn't explain why.

5) I'm not here for attention, I'm here to shoot down the ridiculous OP. This isn't the JL appreciation thread where he can get his friends to sign up, all agree with you, hold hands and sing kumbaya. THAT is why I've not been stopped, because I'm doing a single thing wrong. Staying on topic, arguing the OP. Just like an admin/mod did a fair few pages back.

I made a mistake when I ignored Wii. I'm not doing the same mistake again.

You made a mistake when you ignored the tablets, social networks, other forms of entertainment media and even the long-term power of hardcore gaming, which made you predict 500M for Wii. Now you're doing the same mistake again when predicting 240M for Wii U.

3DS is also performing worse than DS, due to the emerging smartphones and tablets. And the next Nintendo handheld will do even worse...and so on, until Nintendo to disapper from the map.

But I'm not expecting you to see this (obvious) trend. You will probably say 3DS will sell even better than DS and claim that the others have short memory :D

Welcome to the forums, I find it amazing that so many new people are signing up to spread the good word and help reverend Lucas in his time of need. I especially like your advice concerning not wasting his time on me, at this point; I'm the one wasting my time. And, yes; I do enjoy a good debate and I'm pretty good at it too and this is a subject I really care for.

Three brand new users who spend all their time and posts in one thread agreeing with everything he says and disagreeing with everything everyone else says? It smells really fishy. And if they're not all him, that's even more sad, that means there are more of them!

people that were butthurt for several years because they were wrong about wii, ds and 3ds and never acknowledged, come this thread and bash a random dude who made a prediction.

It is still so hurt lol. The pain, my lord, must be unbearable.

Answering your questions:

1 - I was wrong about Wii. I didn't make any predicitons for DS or 3DS.

2 - No. And that wouldn't even be justice, at most some weird revenge...but again, no way. What is most important for me is to learn and share my opinioins. I earn nothing from saying "I was right!".

Maybe because I'm here to learn it's easier for me to expand my knowledge and experience among the time than for someone that spends ages on this (eventually writting a 35000 words post) but that is convinced that has nothing to learn from others. And maybe because I attempt to be neutral it's easier for me to improve my analysis capabilities of better using the little knowledge and experience I have in order to understand the present and predict the future than someone that can be much better informed than me but acts like a public relations from Nintendo (worse than them since he can't get fired).

In fact I may conclude there is no justice here. I feel sorry for those that aren't capable of / willing to learn, are mentally stuck into their very first assumptions and thus get surpassed by any novice that reads some treads and posts a few dozens of comments (over and over again).

Very good point, I admit. I don't deny this possibility. But I'm not one of them. In my case, it's just a coincidence. You won't see me everyday day, cause I have a full time job.
